Golden Square Hunt |
The pavements of Captain Cook Square were paved with
gold as part of a Golden Square promotion in association
TFM Radio.
Music playing, and the promotion in full swing, the TFM
Radio Team and Streetboy were busy hiding golden squares
each filled with cash. Shoppers were given the
opportunity to seek out the golden squares hidden in and
around the Captain Cook Square for their chance to win
cash to spend at one of the many great value stores. It
was a day packed with Feel Good Shopping at Captain Cook
Square for many unsuspecting shoppers as they found out
they had won cash from £10 - £100. Over £1,000 was
given away across the day.
Zoe Kendall , 5 years old was the first lucky winner at
Captain Cook Square, Golden Square promotion in
association with TFM on Saturday 12th April. Zoe, of
Middlesbrough was delighted with her win. Mum Marie
Kendall says "Zoe loves all the computer games so we are
going to spend the money in Zavvi.co.uk". What a great
surprise! Hannah Torta, 13, from Brotton won a whopping
£100 with Streetboy and the team form TFM. "Chuffed to
bits" was how Hannah described her win. Hannah intends
on spending her winnings on JJB Sports sports clothing.
There was plenty of winners across the day including
Mark Stinton, 30 of Redcar won a fab £70.00 and Jordon
Wilson 6, Thornaby won a £20.00 voucher for Zavvi.co.uk.
